The past week wasn't too busy for us. We took it pretty easy and stayed inside most of the time as it just RAINED all week! We are all pretty much tired of the rain here. Today is a little sunny, for now. Supposed to rain later. No fun for us!
We've been doing a dinner group with some friends of ours and Saturday was our turn to have them over! I made the main dish which was Three Cheese Pasta Bake! It was yummy! It involved penne pasta, and the three cheeses: parmasean, provolone and mozzerella among other ingredients. It was quite the hit! Danette's family brought a yummy apple salad and French bread and Sarah's family brought Creme Brulee for dessert! Overall the dinner was great and it was fun to have them over.
Yesterday after church our Branch went out to visit those members that we haven't seen in awhile, inviting them back! I think overall it was a good experience and just a small taste of what our full time missionaries do on a daily basis! Afterwards we all met back at the church for a Linger Longer potluck. Jed made his yummy Lemon Pepper chicken and rice and I made some Snickerdoodles for dessert. The food was good and there was a good turn out of people.
We will see what this week brings us! Hopefully less rain here! We are more than willing to share it with other parts of the country that need it!
