We were SOO lucky to have family here for Thanksgiving this year! My little bro, Adam and his girlfriend Cathy flew in for the weekend. Poor Cathy had an emergency appendectomy the Monday prior to flying out! But she was a trooper and I think still managed to have a good time!
Kenzi had a great time with Uncle Adam and "the other one" as she called Cathy. Then depending on what shirt Cathy wore would be her name for the day, ie when they arrived Cathy was wearing a black shirt so for the next 2 days she was referred to as "the black one". Cathy then chose a blue shirt and was therefore referred to as "the blue one"! It was quite hilarious! Kenzi figures names are overrated and makes things simple by just stating colors! You are what you wear in her eyes! LOL!
We also were able to have a couple of the missionaries over for turkey dinner as well. I think they quite enjoyed themselves and particularly enjoyed my homemade rolls! :)

It was a fun weekend hanging out! We did A LOT of eating (way toooo much!), a little shopping and a lot of playing fun card games! Good times for sure! Thanks guys for coming out to visit us!

Thanksgiving doesn't get enough credit these days - who doesn't LOVE eating themselves silly and having an excuse to be lazy for days in a row! Yeah for Thanksgiving! If your homemade rolls are easy and idiot-proof, send me the recipe!! Yeast and I are not friendds. BTW - LOVE your Christmas music on the sidebar. I danced the whole time I wrote this...that's why it's really long...

Wow sis...great Turkey spread. I love that table cloth!! MMMMMmmm gotta love those sweet potatoes. Isn't that Cathy a cutie?? Great picture of you both. Adam told me that having the missionaries 'as a surprise' was not that bad. He said he really enjoyed talking to them. He also said that going to church didn't kill him either. Wheeewww...I was soooo worried *wink*
