A Fond Farewell

So Long, Farewell...(insert Sound of Music song here)

Come the end of June Jed will be ALL DONE with his schooling, residency and fellowship training;
ALL DONE! Yay!

Once he is all completed we will be packing our bags and moving where Jed will start a new job with a great practice! We are super excited and can't wait to be by our families again!

So in preparation for this upcoming event we have put the house up for sale. I've given my notice for my jobs and we've accepted an offer on our house. Hence the craziness and stress we've been enduring the past month or so.

I've decided that it's
stressful selling a house, however selling a house during a recession is flat out ridiculous! We've been on a roller-coaster of emotions with all of this and would like it all to end soon.

On the bright side of things, the girls at work planned an awesome farewell party for me and we had such a great time.

We began by going to a bounce house for a couple of hours. We all brought our kids and had a BLAST!

It took me seriously and HOUR to convince Makenzi to go on this slide. After we went a couple times together I could NOT get her off of it!! She would climb up the stairs all by herself (not an easy task) and slide down over and over and over again!!! She was such a big girl and had such a great time with everyone!
After wearing ourselves out here, we walked over to Cafe Adobe and filled up on some yummy food!! It was fantastic and such a fun way to enjoy everyone's company one last time all together. I will SERIOUSLY miss my job here and everyone I've had the chance to work with! It's been the BEST job ever!! I've had an amazing boss and fantastic co-workers! I couldn't have asked for more!! Thank you everyone for such a wonderful time!!! We will miss you!!!

There's still plenty to do before we do any moving. I'm not looking forward to packing or unpacking for that matter. However, it's the adventure in it all that I need to try to remember and most of all, everything happens for a reason (although I don't understand those reasons Ü) and that patience is a virtue, etc. These are all hard things to remember when it gets to be a bit stressful, but I'm working on it!

It looks like you had tons of fun at the bounce house! as fun as that place is, it's hard trying to get to the tops of all the blowups, good workout though! we're all so excited for that day you actually get to come home to Utah! whenever that will be!

I can imagine that selling a house right now would be super hard! What were you doing for work I can't seem to remember? What was your job in? Are you guys coming back to Utah? Or will you be moving somewhere else?

Plus she worked/s at a fitness center, keeping that bod of her toned up...hope she can do that here too, so maybe her mum could get a discount and someone to go with???? I am going out on a limb her Jen and say that there will be many things for Kenzigirl to try (that she has been afraid of) that now that she is 3, she will loveeee to do. It is going to be fun times to get to be there when she does some of those scary things... *wink*

Hey Lex, I've been doing hair (thanks mom Ü) for the past few years here. It's been a lot of fun!! We are going to be moving to Utah where Jed got a great job. We are excited to be by family and friends again (not to say we aren't going to miss our friends here Ü)
