And a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!!

Good-bye 2009 and HELLO 2010!!

What are we doing to ring in the new year? Well, not much. We WANTED to do something, however, with a sick kiddo at home tonight makes it a little bit harder to go out and do things. Poor Makenzi hasn't been feeling well the past couple of days and told us "I don't want peoples to come to our house tomorrow, cuz I'm sick". :( It really is fine though, after all the running around the holidays bring, just hanging out at home sounds pretty good to me!

Thinking back over 2009 I think some of our highlights included:

~ Being able to sell our house in the middle of a recession!
~ Moving closer to family
~ Jed starting his new job
~ Buying a new reliable car that isn't in the shop every other month! (YAY!!)
~ Jaxson turning one
~ Kenzi taking her ballet lessons

And here's to 2010 and some of the great things we are looking forward to in our house:

~ Kenzi going to Sunbeams (at church), SO EXCITING :)
~ Potentially buying a new (to us) house
~ Kenzi starting Pre-school
~ Jed completing his FIRST year "on the job"
~ Jaxson going to Nursery (in church)
~ Celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary

So lets get it going! The countdown is on!

I wish I was feeling the excitement over Sevy in Sunbeams and Teik in Nursery, but the teacher is still me! Yeah for possible new houses, preschool, and a real income! I really need a new hairdo Jeni-when are you coming to visit?

Cute post mom! I love your highlights of '09! And your goals/things to look forward to in '10 are awesome too! Can't believe Kenzi girl is old enough to go to Sunbeams! And let's not even talk about preschool!! I think I called you the day Tyler went to preschool - so you better call me! I'll be your shoulder to cry on!! :)

Love ya mom! xoxo
