Makin' Stuff

Not having to travel this year for Christmas opened up some time to actually sit down and make some gifts! It was a lot of fun and I totally enjoyed MOSTLY every minute of it! Many nights it was just me, my sewing machine, project at hand and my phone playing Christmas tunes while the kids were nestled snug in their beds! It was really a lot of fun and hopefully many more projects out there to come! Seriously, there are WAY too many blogs out there with WAY too many awesome ideas!

So here is what I was up to for most of December:

Making some super fun pillows I saw somewhere in the blogosphere:

I made Kenzi's dress this year (yes, they look tired and a little disheveled, we were running late and on our way to church but hey, we got the picture!) Surprisingly, Kenzi agreed to wear another color other than pink or purple (phew!)
I also made a carseat cover for my sister-in-law. I had her name this year and thought this would be perfect for her new baby girl arriving this spring!! :) (It's not a great picture but it's all I took of it! ahh!) She loved it :)
