Our Little Miracle

Our little one has arrived!  She is tiny and precious and adorable and perfect and we couldn’t love her more!  Seriously, it’s amazing all the emotions you have when these little ones arrive and are placed in your arms for the first time.

Here we are at the hospital just after checking in.  Ya, I’m looking a little ready to have this baby! :)

I was in labor for about 6 hours.  I had awesome nurses who were nice and thoughtful and helped me so much along the way.  Bless the anesthesiologist, he rocked and made things so much nicer for me, if you know what I mean.  Yay, for my doctor who made it right in time to deliver my little one and who is awesome as well and has been fabulous the entire nine months of my pregnancy.

After a very short delivery we were able to meet our little one for the very first time:

Really, not that great of a pic (of me) but it’s tradition, it’s where the husband stands and it’s how I hold the baby and well, it’s just tradition…puffy face and all :)

The new big sister got a surprise present: the much desired unicorn pillow pet! She loved it and still does and takes it everywhere.

The new big brother got one as well but he got the frog. However, he was more interested in mom’s chinese food than anything else.  Oh well. He’s still stinkin adorable in his pj’s.

Here little Bailee is all dressed and ready to leave the hospital.  We laughed so hard at her little outfit that clearly did not fit her.

Once we got home Jax wanted to hold “my baby”. We asked him where Bailee was, so he’s pointing to her to show us where she is. He loves her, absolutely adores her.  He wants to hold her all the time and be by her and just love her. It’s great.

Kenzi can’t get enough of Bailee either. She tells me all the time that “she’s just so cute, Mom”. She talks to her in this little baby voice that is just too cute.  I need to get it on video sometime…

Aahhhh home sweet home.

I’m so glad to have her here.  She has been so great. There’s nothing like have a newborn in the house again. I could just sit and hold her and stare at her for hours.

I love newborns. I love that they sleep a lot (at least the first 2 weeks) and let you hold them and swaddle them.  I love their little hands and their little feet.  I love how peaceful they are and how they are this little piece of Heaven that you get to hold in your arms.  I love it when they randomly smile in their sleep as if they are having the best dream ever.  I love it even more when their eyes are open and they actually smile at you.  I think  they are precious and perfect and sweet and I love it.

Baby number three had some differences from my other two kiddos including:

~First baby born in this here state.

~First baby delivered by my actual doctor

~First baby not born on a Wednesday.

~Longest I’ve gone being pregnant (39 wks)

~First time going into labor in the daytime.

Welcome to our family, little Bailee.  You are so very loved.

Thanks Danielle, you're so sweet!

Thanks Jodi! I was a little nervous how Jaxson would react but he's been really great about having a little sister...well minus his 2 y/o moments but that's just expected :)
