Highlights

Highlights of Christmas 2010:

1. Christmas eve wouldn't be Christmas eve without festive pj's to sleep in while visions of sugarplums and/or presents dance in your head!

2. Christmas morning wouldn't be Christmas morning without awesome bed head and sleepy eyes! Oh and of course all the fun presents that the big guy himself left behind under our ummmm over-decorated Christmas tree.

a. Nothing's better than getting a pink Leapster and a princess game when you're a little girl, well besides finally getting the game Candyland of which you may or may not be the last of all your friends to get! (sheesh, some parents!)

b. When you're a little boy, pretty much all you need is a palm-sized Buzz lightyear gun that makes annoying (I mean, cool) lazer beam noises that you can use to shoot everyone you see, over and over and over. Oh and of course getting your very own Buzz sleeping bag!
3. And who doesn't love going over to their Papa and Remaw's to be spoiled by more gifts and love from them and their cousins?! And of course eating black and red licorice (he couldn't decide...so there IS a little of me in him!) at the same time...in the morning...before breakfast. Of course Kenzi was in HEAVEN getting this totally fab dress-up dress from her cousins of which she HAD to put it on immediatley...I don't blame her, she looks beautiful in it! :)
4. And Christmas day wouldn't be complete without going to Papa and Grandmama's to be spoiled by more love and presents! Jed's rockin a totally awesome surgical cap made by my sister-in-law. Kenzi LOVES her magnetic dress up doll. And Jax totally loves his Gator golf game!

Christmas was fabulous, as it usually is. You (by 'you' I mean 'I') stress about the presents and the wrapping, the parties and the decorations but when it all comes down to it, it's the great times that we had with our families that I remember the most and what we ENJOY the most. I totally love to hang out with our families and spend time with them. We usually manage to have ourselves a grand time; from enjoying the Christmas Eve party to having a yummy Christmas dinner on Christmas day, it leaves us exhausted but in the best way possible!
