It's My Party!

That's right, it was my birthday a couple of days ago and what a fun birthday it was! Since being married (and living out of state) my mom has been to now 2 of my birthdays making them a little extra special! I woke up Weds and mom offered to make yummy homemade waffles (my FAVE!).  What a great way to start the day.  I was pretty much just laid back the remainder of the morning and afternoon.  We opened presents which my mom had ordered me some shirts from some of my favorite stores:

It was fun to receive phone calls and e-mails from family and friends wishing me a Happy Birthday all day long! 

Jed came home and took me to do a little shopping and out to dinner.  It was funny because we got sat at a 2-seater booth since we were sans kids! It's been awhile since we were in a booth that size! It was nice to actually be able to eat my dinner while it was warm!! And not have to tell a certain someone to sit down (Jed! j/k!) throughout the entire meal.

Here's a fun pic we took after we got home. The kids were already in their jammas and ready to go to bed! Thanks Grandmama for watching them for us! What a great treat it was!
