Happy Love Day!

Valentine's Day was such a fun day for us.  We actually celebrated for TWO days :) Friday Jed surprised me with a dozen pink ROSES!! Say it with me "Awwwwwww!".  We decided it would be easier to go out to eat on Friday instead of Saturday to beat the crowds. We took the kids and went to Texas Roadhouse (YUMMY!).  We went a little earlier around 5-ish and didn't have to wait long to be seated.  It was so delicious and it really was such a fun night. Kenzi enjoyed her dinner and watching the waiters dance, and Jaxson was a trooper and was pretty content the whole time!

Saturday morning the kids got their Valentine's from us. Makenzi received a Mary Poppins doll which just made her day! If you are around this girl for more than 10 minutes you learn quickly that Mary Poppins is one of her FAVORITE movies EVER!  She was so excited to have her very one Mary Poppins doll to play with! 
She also got another favorite: a Disney Princess book! This girl and her Princesses!!!


Jaxson received a new shirt (that Kenzi lovingly displayed):

and he got a new Elmo book (pretty much so he can just chew on it!)

Kenzi was also so excited to receive Valentine COOKIES from her Papa and Grandmama Bywater! She enjoyed every bite!
