Cue the music "...It's my birthday too!"
Yet another long over-due post. Yup, it was my birthday, a big ugly milestone birthday. Okay so I only turned 30 but STILL it's 30! It was actually pretty fun. I think I had a harder time turning 25 than turning 30. Most of that was probably due to the fact that I was in school with a bunch of recent h.s. graduates so they were a mere 18 years young and there I was turning 25!
ANYway...my b'day was a lot of fun. I spent the afternoon with my DEAREST friend Staci. We had a lot of fun eating at CFA (Chick-fil-A) and then just going around shopping and what not. Our kids were excellently behaved making the afternoon that much more enjoyable!!
That evening we had plans to eat at Texas Roadhouse (YUM-Filet and rolls!). So I got the kiddos all ready to go over to their Papa & Remaw's so we could go to dinner sans kids. Jed was being painfully (and unusually slow) and we finally headed out the door. We arrived at Jed's parents house and apparently so did everyone else! SURPRISE!!!! It's a party! Everyone came to surprise me for my 30th and it was a lot of fun! And I was honestly surprised! Usually it's pretty hard to get things past me as I tend to be a little Type A and need to know all the details of everything that's going on. It. Was. Fabulous!!! So much fun!!!
