Trick-or-Treat!

Yay for Halloween and dressing up and eating way too much candy!!!

Halloween was SO MUCH FUN! We made festive sugar cookies, making a significant mess in the kitchen. Then we got the kids ready to knock on doors and ask strangers for individually wrapped candy which would later result in an unnecessary sugar rush and an anticipated "crash" later on that evening!

First stop: Remaw and Papa's! This was so much fun as it was a first (I'm pretty sure) for them (Papa & Remaw) to have their grandkids come trick-or-treating at their house. Kenzi pretty much robbed them blind and took a majority of their candy (she's no fool!). This little Aerial only LOOKS innocent!!

Our little Tiger ROMPED and ROARED his way around their house eventually earning some candy as well for his own candy bag! These 2 kids know very well how to melt their grandparents hearts!

Next stop: Trunk-or-treat. This idea, in general, is a pretty nice concept. Especially with young kids. It's quick and easy and generally a SAFE way to do some trick-or-treating. The kiddos don't wear down and go into meltdown mode before you finish and you end up with a fair share of candy. However, such was not the case for our kids and their cousins: Alec, Kyli and Londyn. They felt they still had plenty of room in their bags. So off we went to cover the neighborhood for more sugar!

Last stop: Papa and Grandmama's! Yes! We made it to our final destination and enjoyed some YUMMY pizza and breadsticks!! It was fabulous. We took some pics with the cousins (although they didn't turn out all that well) and played the rest of the night!

(Totally LOVED Thing 1 and Thing 2's costume!!! Perfect Jean! Nice work!)

Again, Yay for Halloween and having a fun night where kids can definitely be kids, run around and let their imaginations run wild as they live in their little pretend world costumes and all!
