Just a glimpse

of our summer days ahead.

Last Saturday our weather was ALMOST perfect.  The sun was out, the temp was just right oh and all the allergens were in the air causing me to go into sneezing fits MULTIPLE times! (Oh Texas how I miss you!! I miss being able to breathe like a normal person w/o sneezing FREQUENTLY and having itchy watery eyes and throat!!). 

Allergies or no allergies I’m still super excited I get to hang out with this little Miss ALL summer before she goes to Kindergarten EVERY DAY (sniff, sniff)!!

and figure out how to get these 3 in our double stroller:

They swear they all fit but Bailee’s not so sure

(I’m with Bailee). 

She’s thinking she has 2 crazy older siblings:

There are times she’s definitely correct in her thinking!

Now that Preschool is out and summer SHOULD be here any day now (crossing our fingers!) we’re trying to fill that blank calendar of fun activities that

A) don’t cost an arm and a leg and

B) are actually fun and somewhat entertaining!

We’re hoping to hit up the library and discover some new reading material.

Possibly hang out with the dinosaurs and discover some fossils.

Maybe put on some waterproof clothes and splash around in our swimming pool (that we don’t have yet but is on the “Must purchase by summer” list….I think that might be the only thing on that list but still! I have a list for just about everything!)

Maybe be brave and hang out in a tent, OVERNIGHT, and roast some marshmallows and have s’mores with EXTRA chocolate.

Also, walk around in the scorching heat, pushing a stroller and checking out ALL KINDS of different animals in ONE location (it’s FOR THE KIDS…that is what I will tell myself when I’m sweating bullets and have a headache and just want to go home! )

Any other ideas are most definitely welcome!! Kenzi may or may not ALREADY be asking me “Well, what can I do then?”
