We had our annual Relief Society Dinner for church a couple Saturdays ago (I know, I'm a slacker on posting!). It turned out REALLY well! We decorated everything in Silver and Gold to make it more "Christmas-y". Each table was decorated just a little different. It was so much better than our usual set up which includes NOT having a table cloth or pretty center pieces! We had yummy lasagna, salad and garlic bread and this FANTASTIC Holiday Slush drink for dinner. Then we all went into the Primary room to watch a DVD. My dad gave me the book last year for Christmas and on the back cover is a DVD of a reading of the book....SOOOO GOOOD! It is called "A Christmas Bell for Anya". Such a sweet story and there wasn't a dry eye in the place when it ended. Then we all went back and had an ornament exchange and sang Christmas Carols. It was a fun night and we had a great turn out!!

I LOVE that story too! It really is a neat story! The first time I heard it, I had a hard time not crying too! Looks like a fabulous party! You are such a GREAT RS President!! ;)
Wow! I'm glad you liked that story. I love it! I am kind of biased though. I had the neat opportunity to be one of the 12 bell ringers on the DVD. Sounds like a great party!
Erika, that's funny because I thought one of the girls was you!! But then I wasn't sure. You did a great job :)
How cool is that Erika that you were able to be part of such a great story!! Okay okay, so who is Erika?
I love your simple but tasteful decore Jen. Truely a nice job done by all. I bet you are glad to have that behind you. Ours is this Thursday night and the madrigals are coming to sing. I am pretty sure we won't be going however, in that dad hasn't been home before 8pm for two straight months. Oh well, fa la la la la la...la la la laaaaaaaaaa!
