We had a GREAT Turkey Day in our neck of the woods! We got up and had Hot chocolate (made by our awesome Cocomotion..YUMMY!) and cinnamon toast. We then watched part of the Macy's Day Parade while Jed went to work for just an hour to check on some post-op patients. I then got the turkey in the oven, peeled the potatoes, got the sweet potatoes ready, made the jell-o salad and then I was feeling EXTRA ambitious this year and decided to make HOMEMADE rolls! I've never made rolls before, unless you count Pillsbury Crescent rolls! It was A LOT of work but must say they tasted FANTASTIC!!! ;) The results are below!
Our friends, the Malnar's, came over to eat with us. They provided a yummy green bean casserole and a cheesecake for dessert! Both dishes were excellent!
Later we decided just to veg and go through the ads and be lazy. It was such a fun day!!

Here's the dough ready to be rolled out

How wonderful that you had a family to share Thanksgiving with. It will be nice when we 'all' can share it together again. Soooooon huh? Love Mom
See comments about rolls on your Happy Thanksgiving post. *smile*
I testify that the homeade rolls were above & beyond DELICIOUS! The extras we had have been extinct since Saturday morning (we had them for breakfast :) You should definitely make some more soon!
Glad you like the blog. Thank goodness for Shabby Princess and the instructions on how to make it look cute! Although, I had to go through those instructions a bunch of times because it wasn't working. Obviously, I was doing something wrong. Mine looks a lot like yours, but oh well. Plus, I had to copy you on some of your songs. They are fav's of mine too! Hope you don't care!! :)
Wow, Your family is so Cute! I'm so glad you've made this blog so I can kind of keep track of how things are going.
