Per Bywater family tradition, our Christmas Eve party has been held at my Grandma and Grandpa's house for as long as I've been alive. After my Grandma passed away, we've continued the tradition of having it at their house as well. It just wouldn't be the same!
For dinner, Jean made her yummy homemade chili. It was great to have on a snowy Christmas eve! We all sat and visited in my Grandpa's front room as we were warmed by his nice fire! The kids like to play with the toys that Grandpa has kept through all the many years, toys that we as kids played with as well!
Once dinner was done we got a special visit from Santa Clause! We couldn't believe he had time to stop and visit us on such a busy night, we sure were lucky! He offered each a candy cane and had each grandchild sit on his lap for a quick rundown of what they REALLY wanted for Christmas! Then off he went to get his night started!
Afterwards, Grandmama did a reading of the Nativity with the help of all the Grandchildren. To end the night, each grandchild got to open one special present: pajama's! They were so cute! They all looked adorable in their matching jammas!
It was a fun night! Here, of course, are more pictures!
