Well, it's hard to believe but Makenzi is now TWO YEARS OLD! She is so much fun and as sassy as ever!
She was so lucky and got to celebrate her birthday in Chicago! We went to Navy Pier and walked around in the GORGEOUS weather! We then went and took her Build-A-Bear on the Pier for her to build her first bear!
She pretty much liked ALL of the bears, puppies, etc. However, she loved this puppy first thing so this was the one she started to build:
Then it was time to stuff the puppy:
Give the heart a kiss and place it in the puppy:
Then give the puppy a nice bath:
Then it was time to pick out the outfit. This was when Makenzi saw the computers and lost all interest! She would much rather punch all the keys on the keyboard than pick out an outfit for her puppy. So we took on the arduous task of choosing an outfit from the hundreds they have available and decided to go for the Green Bay Packer cheerleader outfit (which was pretty daring on our part as we were in Chicago Bears territory...but hey, we like the Packers!). And here she is:

Look how cute her puppy turned out!!! I LOVE!!! Looks like the Build a Bear (or puppy) was a hit! :) It looks like it was a fabulous day that day too!! Was it warm? I can't believe Kenzi girl is 2 already!! Where does the time go??? I seriously have pics of her the day she was born (that you guys sent and I saved on my computer) that come up every once in a while on my screen saver and it seriously seems like just yesterday! What a doll she is!! :)
Kenzigril picked the perfect pet to stuff...looks just like her, all curly and such!! I love it!! Green Bay Packers...why not!!! Hahahahahahahaha
It is amazing to watch her in your photos and how 'into' the whole procedure she was. Isn't it amazing how curious they are and how much they actually 'get'? I am so glad you shared the pictures sis...love them!!
What a cute birthday present! We have a build a bear in the mall that i work at and its fun to watch the kids go through the work shop and make the bears. kenzi is getting so big. It's kinda sad cause we feel like we missed out on Sooo much of it! hopefully not the case for the second little one! how have you been doing?
Kenzi is so cute!. I love the puppy. I also love Build a Bear. Want to take my kids back. Happy birthday Kenzi!
