So ya, I really need to wrap things up on this here blog for the year 2011! Seriously! To say I have been in a blogging funk would be a MAJOR understatement!!! To say I have been in a bit of a “life” funk would probably be more accurate. However, per usual of me perusing through past pics and happy memories, it tends to get me out of said funk and I feel this little spark of energy to blog again….so let’s take advantage of this tiny spark and see how far it gets us, shall we?
Happy birthday to this little guy:
Yup, the lucky guy got to celebrate in Disneyland with Mickey Mouse himself at the “Surf’s Up” Breakfast. Jax was pretty oblivious that it was his b’day, he just thought it was cool there were unlimited refills on the chocolate milk!
Pluto was one of his fave’s! Honestly, Pluto was hilarious and Jax had the best time teasing him!
Minnie Mouse had to come over as well and wish Jax a Happy Birthday with some tickling love She was so cute with him and Jax was cracking right up!!
Jax and Kenzi were picked to be SuperHero’s for the Incredible’s parade. SO FUN!
We got to meet Chip N Dale but Jax wasn’t so sure about them at first so they tried to show them they were fun
And kept trying so he would stand in a pic with us:
And finally, a miracle happened and he came and stood in the picture
He got to go on the “BIGGEST RIDE, EVER!!”…again
He caught a glimpse of some of his fave cartoon characters:
Had a birthday dinner at the Rainforest with “his boys” aka, his cousins from California that drove down to see us while we were in their neck of the woods (which was SO FUN!! and super nice of them to come down!)
And blew out some birthday candles:
I think by the end of the day he was getting a little tuckered out…what do you think?
But not too tired to stop by the Lego store and see Woody
One last pic with the cousins before they head back home.
A few pics from our family party we had earlier in the month for all the September kids b’days in my family:
He’s getting so big and always so much fun! Jax is always saying something that is sure to crack you up! (Like telling me that I’m “bumpy” aka Grumpy when I’m struggling clicking him in his car seat!) He’s great with his baby sister (which is such a relief because we weren’t quite sure how it was all going to play out!). But he loves her and has since they day she was born. Kenzi is his absolute best friend. He wanted so terribly to go to Kindergarten with her and took him quite awhile before there were no more tears every time we dropped her off at school. Sometimes he’s still sad when she has to go but always SO happy to have her home again.
This little boy has a huge imagination!! He LOVES pirates and space ship stuff!! He thinks he’s a pirate on many occasions and gets around in his pirate ship!
This is such a fun, imaginative age and I totally love it. He can seriously make my day by giving me the BIGGEST hug ever every morning after getting dressed and telling me he loves me (heart melting). Love this little boy! LOVE him!
Happy birthday, Jax! I hope you had one awesome day!!!!
