I definitely have a lot to be thankful for and would like to share just five of my blessings in life:
1. The Husband (as he's affectionately called), I'm grateful for Jed and all that he does for me and our family. I appreciate all his hard work and efforts that he puts into his career to ensure a stable future for our family. I love how he is so in love with his little Kenzi-girl and takes her on Daddy-Daughter dates out to lunch on Saturdays while I'm at work. I love that he is a family guy and loves to spend time with his girls enjoying all the special things in life.
2. Little Miss MakenziMakenzi just makes my life so full! I absolutely love her to pieces and can't imagine my days without her smiling face, her bright blue eyes and her brilliant red locks! I just love every ounce of her and our precious moments together. I love that I get to be her mom and share in her joys and triumphs and comfort her when she needs comfort. I also love that I have my little girl to do "girl stuff" with! (Dadda's not too keen on the shopping..but Kenzi doesn't seem to mind!)
3. Our Families
I love our families and am grateful for the love and support that they offer us as we live miles and miles away! We enjoy their visits here, the weekly phone calls (sometimes daily if I'm missing them more!) and the fun memories we've had through the years!

4. Our Home
I love to have a house that we can call our HOME! I love to have our own space where we can be a family and where the Spirit can reside. I love to have a safe haven we can come to every night after being at work and spend time together as a family.

5. Blogger
This seems kind of silly doesn't it? Well, I am grateful for this way of communication so we can keep in touch with family and friends that we love so much! I love that we can share our adventures with you all and hear how you all are doing as well!
We hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy your dinner and save some room for dessert!

You guys have such a cute little family. Josh and I love looking at your blog to see how you guys are doing. I definitely agree with being grateful for blogging althought it sounds funny... it is great when you live far away from your family! Have a good Thanksgiving!
Cute post guys! I too am thankful for blogger! Even though I probably spend way too much time on it! :)
Hi Jeni, I'm greatful for Blogger too! Otherwise I wouldn't be talking to you as much since you live so far away. It's a great way to see how you guys are doing. That is actually the first picture of the outside of your house that I have seen.
I have a new understanding of the sacrifice a family makes to get through medical school and a residency. Thanks for sharing your blog. I love the thankful message and the pictures. It is so good to hear how you are doing. Sorry it has been so long.
Okay Jen, its official, YOU will become our new family roll maker. I am sure Sarah's mom will be greatful for that!(tee hee) Funny how I can teach you to make them, but can't produce them personally hahahahaha Good job!
I am thankful for your husband too! He DOES take such good care of you and your future ambitions.
I am thankful for Kenzigirl too! Its so nice to look at her and see the lil' redheaded girl I use to have. She is every bit both you and Jed combined. Quite a dollie!
I am thankful for family too! Not so much your dads (tee hee), but diffently 'our' family. We are so blessed to have 7 well adjusted, intelligent, healthy, capable children. We love you all so much and love sitting back and watch you grow.
I am thankful that you have a home to let the Spirit of our Heavenly Father dwell within too! Actually after the scare of summer 06', its nice to have it still standing at all. Although I am NOT thankful it is in Houston, but I have always known that it was temporary and so it has been bareable. It will be fun to find you a new house here in Utah, although we know that is just a structure and your 'home' is where ever you make it.
I am thankful for the BLOG as well, in that it gives me an extra way to keep in touch with you. It is hard when I can't contact you and hear your voice, but I have to say, your voice (thoughts) come through loud and clear on your blog. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us and building such a great communication device.
