Makenzi is going to have a "baby brudder"! We are excited to have a little boy on the way!! Truthfully I feel weird about it after having nothing but dolls, bows, and pretty dresses taking over my house for two years! However, it will be a fun change of pace for us. Now Jed can have his little shadow as well. I'm sure he will enjoy having a little golfing buddy! Fun times are ahead! Makenzi is so thoughtful of "baby brudder" as she will put her hand on my belly and talk to him and make sure he is okay. Such a cutie! The biggest differences with this pregnancy than when I was pregnant with Makenzi include:
~Actually being able to eat meat (I was pretty much a vegetarian with Makenzi...no meat for me!)
~More comfortable sleeping on my left side vs my right
~More headaches this time around
~And much hungrier than when I was pregnant with Makenzi!! In my first trimester I swear I was never full! I would eat dinner and two hours later eat a bowl of cereal just before going to bed and then wake up famished!! Nothing satisfied me long enough! I'm happy to say that my appetite has finally balanced out more and I'm not so ravenous! whew!! It's exhausting being so hungry! hahaha!! I got tired of opening the fridge or the pantry knowing exactly what was in there but secretly hoping that something REALLY YUMMY would magically appear!!
Overall I feel pretty good. Some days the lower back feels slightly broken, or completely broken if I worked all day ;) But Jed's been great and lets me just crash on the couch when I get home so I can rest up. He's good at making dinner and getting Makenzi ready for bed or chasing her around when she's all wound up and I have zero energy to chase after her ;) Thanks hubby!
Now to think of a boy name....any suggestions???

Yay for a mini Jed on the way!! Can't wait to meet the little man! I am going to get that box of clothes sent to you this week k? So be looking for it! Hope you're ok with some hand-me-downs. I promise I went through them and only gave you the good stuff! :) Feel free to wash it all and get rid of what you don't like/want. No hard feelings! ;) Glad you're feeling good these days. About time for a prego picture don't you think?? Have you been documenting??? I hope you're doing better at it then I did with Brooke (or Tyler for that matter!) xoxo
Congratulations Jed and Jeni! I absolutely love having both a girl and a boy. Jonathan was just an angel baby, but a little devil two year old!! I have to tell you I had a weird dream this morning, I dreamt that I ran into you and Danette, and you told me you were having twins... WEIRD EH? Glad it's not twins, and congratulations again!
HLmmm...maybe you and Staci are really sisters, you think? Each of you have a boy and a girl right off the bat. Certainly I have NOOOOOO idea what THAT would be like! I am so thankful that you are able to carry on the Poll heritage. Gosh, did I just say that? hahahahaha Boys Name? JT Poll of course!!
Oh my goodness. How exciting!!! Wow! I get the feeling you are and excellent mommy, and this sweet spirit will be lucky to come into your home.
I don't frequent these things often but I have a few options for you:
1. Lefty
2. Two-glove
3. 259
They're all names Jed gave to me and I'd like to get rid of at least one someday...
Hunter???? Taylor???? Jaden????
Congrats! The Poll name will go on? Are you kidding me...there is about 50 Poll males in South Weber alone! Looking forward to some eventual pics of the little dude in a few months.
John and Amy
Congrats!! You will love having a little boy. They are so fun and super busy!!! I am sure he will be sooo adorable!!
Boys are lost of fun! Less drama. Kenzi will be a great big sister
