I was able to watch the show (FINALLY!) the other night. I really enjoyed putting faces with the characters and seeing what storylines they would follow from the book. I'm glad to say that it was quite accurate, however due to it being on Lifetime they left out some storylines that I would've liked to have seen played out. So per usual, I would say that the book is definitely better but if you are looking for the "Reader's Digest" version of the book then watching the show will give you the big picture!

Yay! One of my awesome clients called me today to inform me that a book I had blogged about and enjoyed was made into a Lifetime movie! To refresh your memory it was "The Memory Keeper's Daughter", check out the post here. Anyway, for those of you that are interested you can check it out on Lifetime on Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 PM (Central time). I'm not sure what to expect but I have my DVR set to record it and look forward to watching it!

Oh shoot! I forgot to watch. Did you? I didn't read the book yet, but you had said how good it was. I wanted to watch the show. I'll have to see if it will be on again! Dang it!
