20 Years

I got this tag from my sister-in-law and thought it was fun!

20 Years ago... I was all of 8 years old. I was in 2nd grade in Mrs. Johnson's class (my FAVORITE!). We lived in our house that was in the north part of B.C. and I was taking all kinds of fun dance lessons.

10 Years ago... I was 18 and just graduated from high school getting ready to attend Weber State. I had just made the WSU Dance Line/Spirit Squad and received a full scholarship for tuition. I was also working at the movie theater, trying hard to earn some dollars to pay for a new car!

5 Years ago...I had been married for one year and living in Milwaukee, WI while Jed attended medical school. I was working as an Admin. Asst. at CHW, teaching aerobics part time at the WAC and dancing for the Milwaukee Bucks.

3 Years ago...We had lived in TX for one year by this time. Jed had completed his Transition year at Baylor and I had completed my schooling for Cosmetology. I got a job at an awesome salon working full time. Very soon we would find out that we were pregnant with Makenzi.

1 Year ago...
Makenzi had just turned ONE! Jed was in his 2nd year of residency. I was working part time at the salon.

So far this year ...Found out we were pregnant with our second child. Also found out we are having a boy this time. Jed is finishing up his 4 years of residency. I'm still working part time at the salon and enjoying it.

Yesterday I...1. Cleaned and scrubbed the kitchen (top to bottom!) 2. Spent forever on the phone with ins. co's and dr's offices 3. Sat in my house for an hour while the power had gone out (yes, in 98 degree weather!) 4. Sat on my cell phone forever talking to a complete jerk, I mean the power company's "Customer Service Advocate" reporting the power outage. 5. Went and did the 'Monday errands': bank, grocery store, etc 6. Made dinner and played with Makenzi until bedtime!

Today I...1. Am going to attempt to iron the accumulating pile of Jed's shirts for work (I despise ironing!). 2. Buy a b'day present for Makenzi's friend from school for her b'day party this weekend. 3. Work on baby brother's nursery a little bit (still a work in progress). 4. Attempt to read my book during Makenzi's nap time!

Tomorrow I...1. Will go to work and make people's hair look beautiful! 2. Come home and make dinner. 3. Decide what to do for Thurday!

In the next year I...1. Will have a baby! 2. Work out details with Jed's job for when he gradutates. 3. Work out! 4. Scrapbook more (hahaha) 5. Hopefully have more family and friends down to visit! (hint, hint)
