UPDATE

Well, we are still here and plan on staying put. We are not under mandatory or voluntary evacuation. It has been advised that unless you are under either evacuation order to stay put as to keep the roads cleared (a lesson learned from Rita a couple years back!). There are parts of our county that are under mandatory evacuation but the zip codes do not include ours. They are more east of us. We are not in a storm surge area...we are about 50 miles inland and about 49 ft above sea level.

So staying put here puts some chores in place for us at the house. We will move everything from the around the windows, fill our bathtubs with water, continue to make ice and double check all of our emergency supplies.

As for last night, all I could do is dream about having this baby during the storm!! Oh please, please pray that won't happen!!!!!!! I had everyone scaring me yesterday telling me that the barometric pressure is low and that puts some ladies into labor! HELLO!!!! Why would you tell someone that??? Anyway, I'm thinking positive and this baby will hang in there until next week (after mom gets here!) ;)

Hey Jeni, we're staying too, and we have a generator so if you need anything let us know, once the storm has passed you can come and hang out if you want, we will at least have limited power... good luck, seriously I'll pray you don't go into labor!

We love you all and and know that lil boy will wait for all things to be calm and for his grandmama to be there in person!
