Day 24

Day 24 – A letter to your parents.

Dear Mom and Dad,

This 30 day challenge didn’t tell me what to say in my letter to you guys!  What?!  No direction? 

Alright well, I’ll give you a brief “Thank You” letter because I probably need to say it so much more. 

Thank you for driving me to Foothill elementary every day in my 6th grade year so I wouldn’t have to change schools for my last year of elementary school due to us moving!  It was my BEST year and most fun, by far!! So thank you for driving me across town every day so I could continue to go to school with all my friends!

Thanks for moving my room from the downstairs to the upstairs after moving to our new house.  I’m not much a fan of the downstairs, it was too cold!  

Mom-Thanks for teaching me how to sew.  Who knew spending one summer learning how to sew could pay off in so many ways!!  It’s always so much fun to sew things and make fun dresses for my little girls.

Dad- Thank you for fixing the Festiva after the “rotors”(??) locked up on the freeway and my tires couldn’t move anymore!  It was nice to have a little car to drive to practice early in the morning and also be able to park pretty much anywhere!

Thanks for putting me in a zillion dance classes and competitions.  It was so much fun and I met so many awesome people through those experiences that opened so many more doors that I never thought possible!

Mom- Thanks for taking me to work with you at the store when I was little.  That always made my day.  I loved to spend the day with you and LOVED getting a Sprite or Root Beer (in the GLASS bottles) out of the Coke Machine!

Dad – Thanks for taking off work to come to my state competitions during high school and to watch me perform during college football and basketball games! Always meant so much to have you there!

Thanks to both of you for always being so supportive in whatever endeavor I chose. 

I love you both so very much!
