7.A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you
I would have to say this beautiful building right here is the “something” that has the biggest impact on me.
Ever since I was a little girl I KNEW that this was the place I wanted to get married!! And I knew that I wanted to live my life in such a way that I COULD get married there! I love it!! I love to sing the Primary song “I Love to see the Temple”. I sing it all the time, to my kids, when I’m stressed, when I need a happy thought…this is the song the pops into my brain.
I LOVE to go to the temple. I have always loved going to see the temple. When I would go to Oregon in the summers growing up I would always ask my aunt to take me to the Portland temple grounds. We have numerous pictures taken there through the years (now if I can find them) with my cute little (at the time) cousins! It’s also the temple I went through for my own endowments just before getting married.
This place inspires me to be a better person. It is the Lord’s house and a place you can go to feel the spirit and be at peace.
Mostly I love this place because this is where Jed and I were sealed for time and all eternity and by doing so has allowed us to be an eternal family with our children.
It has had the biggest impact on me because every day I try to live my life so that I can enter the Lord’s house. I try to be more Christ-like and live the Gospel and conduct my life in such a way so that I am worthy to attend the temple as often as possible!! The blessings you receive from going to the temple and living a Christ-like life are amazing and beautiful.
So yes, it’s this place, the temple, that has an impact on me in every aspect of my life!

I too have always loved to see the temple. One of my favorite places to go. Let's do a date night to the temple one of these nights huh?!
